A Griffon Vulture, (Gyps Fulvus); the first one of its kind that I've ever seen even though they appear to be native to Europe, North Africa and Asia (there's even a few in my native Belgium it appears). Despite the bad reputation of vultures these are truly majestic birds, they're about 95-110 cm (37-43 inch) long with a wingspan of 230-265 cm (91-105 inch). Very imposing up close. Please don't hesitate to comment on what you like (or dislike) about the picture, any feedback is appreciated. Don't worry though, I won't kill you if you fav+run. Thanks, Ghost |
